idk what jk said about euphemia potter but here are my thoughts : i like to think she was the first woman healer.

if she was so old when james was born, she probably wasnt working anymore when he got to hogwarts. i can see her enjoying the quiet of her home, making cookies for everyone and cleaning around and every once in a while someone tells her some condescending shit like “oh you sew so well what a cute stay at home wife you make” with that condescending tone and she turns around and go “actually i learnt when i had to sew bleeding body parts back together when 12 people got injured in a tragic flying carpet accident but thank you” and james and sirius are probably in the background yelling “YAS GURL”

( yeah i know wizards dont sew wounds but you think of another example if you’re so clever )
