one makes you critical and aware, the other makes you an asshole

what the bloody hell i was talking with this boy and he told me he liked to read yaoi fanfics but other girls in his school had made fun of him bc yaoi was supposed to be a “girl thing” ??? DO THESE GIRLS EVEN KNOW WHAT YAOI MEANS ??
