well, this kid has no other personnality trait than his love for food, which is exactly how the marauders fandom is portraying peter. not a lot to say about him

what they saw in the mirror of erised

james : himself, old but still healthy, surrounded by his children and lily at his side, laughing. the marauders are here laughing too, sirius ruffling his hair and probably making fun of them. everyone has a large smile and feel close.
remus : himself, but his scars are gone. his clothes are tidy and look new, his prefect badge still on his robes. sirius is holding his hand and they are staring lovingly at each other
sirius : the marauders all together, chatting and laughing. they are all happy, the heaviness of the war and their trials is gone. they are who they are supposed to be, carefree teenagers with nothing to worry about except but their exams and homeworks
peter : himself, but not quite. he’s taller, and thiner, a bit athletic. he seems more confident too, and is it a hickey on his neck ?
regulus : his whole family, including sirius, is here, but they aren’t fighting. in fact, they seem to be talking and enjoying to be together. he notices there is nothing on anyone’s forearm

what if same sex marriage wasn’t allowed in the wizarding world

what if remus and sirius always knew they could never get married like james and lily. and they would pretend it’s all cool but secretely be super disappointed. so one day in seventh year james would get mad and fuck this bullshit they would organize a wedding with rings and peter would be officing, obviously james is sirius’s best man and lily is remus’s. they invite all their friends, and throw the best party hogwarts ever saw and will ever see. remus and sirius were smiling and laughing and blushing. thousands of picture were taken. james and lily had to dance together bc tradition, and there was a lot of blushing here too.

and at the end of the party, as sirius was walking to the kitchen to get remus some chocolate as the lovely husband he was, he crossed regulus.

and even if he couldn’t be sure, he thought he heard him wispering “congratulations”

  • 11 years old james who is getting to hogwarts and cross the path of one rather chubby boy who called him a girl, but noticed the hurt in his eyes and immediatly asked for the correct pronouns and apologized, before to offer him a chocolate frog. and that is how james and peter became friends. later that day he will get equally positive reactions fro the oher guys in the boy dorm he lives in
  • 12 years old who first learns hexes with sirius to “punish” bigots, with the help of their quiet and pacifist friend remus who is a bit too enthusiastic about this whole thing
  • 13 years old james who starts to notice the pretty red hair girl in their year and feels something is different with her, like she is not the same as anyone he ever met. also 13 years old james potter who receives a binder for christmas because puberty is starting to do her job. pomfrey starts to tlk to him about some hormones potion who might help him. he is not sure if he wants to, though and he declines the offer for now
  • 14 years old james who had his first period, and he excepted them to be very disphoric and awful but really they are alright and he doesn’t mind them. he feels very at ease with his body andmaybe he still faces predjudices sometimes but most of people just doesn’t care about what’s in between his legs ( well… not in a bigoted way at least, bc he definitely has the attention of many students ) including his beautiful lily, and he shouldn’t be so relieved of it bc it is only basic human decency but he still is.
  • 15 years old james who is becoming an animagus and sees his is a stag and not a doe and when he changes back he is crying, because even if he is very confident in his validity and masculinity it feels so right and so good
  • 16 years old james who is called transphobic slurs by snivellus and he is bout to hex the shit out of him but lily is faster and she just punches him in the face and yells at him. after five good minutes of yelling she turns to james and apologizes for fighting his fight and has an entire conversation with him without insulting him.
  • 17 years old james who is dating lily and they are about to have sex for the first time and she warns him that actually she is trans too, but it’s less “seeable” than for james. james’s reaction is genuine excitement bc that’s another thing they have in common
  • 18 years old james who is getting married with the love of his life in a perfect tuxedo and lily is gorgeous in her wedding dress and the world is in flames but they don’t care right now because they are in love and married
  • 19 years old james who feels nauseous and hasn’t has his period in a while for some reason and holy fuck lily we are in trouble
  • 20 years old james who is pregnant and proud but the world is cruel to men with an uterus and a baby in it. when his pregnancy starts to become more noticeable, he goes less and less outside and starts to feel confined. they finally go into hiding and he can’t go out at all. but finally he gives birth to a beautiful child who’s all he wants in life and is beautiful and he’s crying bc this feels so good

  • teenage james potter who is very in love with teenage lily evans who is tired of his flirting and tells him to go and try to shag someone else potter and he realizes he is supposed to have sexy thoughts about her and yet he never had
  • teenage james potter who starts to realize he never even thought about a person in this way
  • teenage james potter who freaks out bc wizarding sex education is completely heteronormative and stupid

  • teenage james potter who is relieved that this is a thing, and he is probably not alone in hogwarts, but also a tiny bit scared bc not anyone is as tolerant as the marauders
  • teenage james potter who embraces his sexual orientation and wears only purple, white, gray and black for weeks
  • teenage james potter who comes out to lily in year 6, and she understands he was really in love with her and he didn’t just find her hot, obviously
  • so of course teenage lily evans who starts to fall in love with this stupid boy
  • ( and they finally starts to date in seventh year, and they cuddle all the time bc james fucking love that )
  • teenage james potter who wants to have sex with lily bc lily seems to want it
  • teenage james potter who doesn’t really like it but love to see lily’s face when he touches her like that
  • teenage james potter who is very very aceand will punch the shit out of you if you tell him he haven’t meet the right person yet bc he is with lily and he is still very very ace

the marauders’ favorite clothes

obviously sirius’ is his leather jacket. i really like the hc that it was remus who bought him for his birthday, but that’s not the only reason. it’s the very solid proof of his punkrockness and rebellion. he would have tons of pins, from bands and against discrimination ( not only blood predjudices but also sexism, homophobia, racism, etc… ). once james spilled his pumpkin juice on it and sirius fucking cried.

remus’s is not ( surprise ! ) a jumper. it’s his old gryffindor scarf. of course the guys call him a nerd when he says that, but it’s true. it’s the symbol of his humanity. it’s a normal item, that everyone has, and therefore makes him feel normal. it’s also the reminder that despite the discriminative laws, he was able to go to hogwarts and find friends.

peter’s is his acdc’s tshirt that he got at a concert he went with sirius. neither james nor remus could go so they had a good time together, and peter didn’t feel like he was less of a marauder than the others.

and james’s is, of fucking course, his quidditch uniform. he secretely wears it on weekend, when no one is watching. in seventh year, he learns that lily secretely loves it too and he starts wearing it just for her.

let’s make this quite plain. you’ve been told that a certain dark wizard killed james and lily, causing sirius’s inprisonment and remus’s loneliness for 12 years. this is a lie.

they are all alive and happy. remus and sirius have at least 3 children. harry is the great cousin who babysit everyone. james and lily are loving living parents. sirius lupin prepares wolfsbane potion for his husband. everyone is very happy.

and if anyone says otherwise, we will teach them to tell no lies…
