Lying Remus

So people say Remus was a terrible liar since he flung his suitcase across the room when Harry asked him if he knew Sirius.

But also say he was a great liar because he lied to Snape’s face when Harry was caught with the Map he helped to create.

So he must be terrible at lying to his friends and family but excellent at lying to literally anyone else.

Then imagine the Marauders refusing to let him explain why they’re out of bed because “No offense Rem, but you told us three consecutive full moons that your mom was ill. No one believes that.” “I was eleven!!” “Yeah, still.”

Then the time comes when they run out of excuses and Remus just steps forward and the others are like “Well we’re doomed.”

But Remus comes up with a flawless lie that not only gets all of them out of trouble, but leaves the others gaping at him, forgetting to speak for a few seconds out of shock.
