I don’t want to sound patronizing, but maybe you could tell your teacher you don’t feel comfortable with playing on your « womanhood »? i can’t exactly tell her because her whole vision of the play revolves around womanhood, but if i keep feeling this terrible i do plan to tell the supervisor of the play (she’s like, the big boss of the drama class who organizes everything and teaches us the theorical part of the play) that i’m non binary so she can, idk, just support me? she’s incredibly nice and understanding so i think it’s pretty safe to tell her.
