• the dursleys being “redeemed” without repenting for their abusive behavior towards harry for around 16 years

• the really unhealthy, coercive behavior tonks (and the weasleys) revert to in order to convince remus to date tonks

• severus snape being hailed as a hero & never being called out about his terrible, abusive behavior to a bunch of children because of his ridiculous schoolboy grudge

Can someone explain the problem with Tonks and the Weasleys? I never saw it as coercive, just encouraging him to believe that he really was good enough for her.

Molly gets extremely pushy about it and even frustrated when Remus doesn’t go for it. She guilty him about it and makes him feel awkward and ughhhh I wish I had the energy right now to give exact references to all of this but i promise if you go back and read HBP it’s all there

also, and i will never stop salting about this, in the scene after dumbie’s death in the infirmary, tonks yells at remus for not dating her then physically grabs him and pushes him. just because he said he didnt want to date her.
