i have thought about this a while ago but i’m actually like ??? super puzzled ??? at how much people sexualize the marauders ?

like a lot of the fics that i read take place in hogwarts, while they are like 15 and have wolfstar having like, a huge lot of “adult” sex

now i know the phrasing “adult sex” sounds very weird but hear me out

15 years old have sex, okay. but not all of them. actually, most of them dont.

and when they do, at least based on my experiences ( now bare in mind that i am 16 so i remember being 15 pretty well ) it’s not like, hot passionate penetrative sex ? it’s more like, awkward trials and mistakes and half hand jobs and hickies ?

and yet i see so many, SO MANY fanfics where remus and sirius, at 15, are having full on penetrative sex which they are both somehow perfect at, while also having bdsm scenes and like ?????

i mean there are certainly 15 years old out there with that kind of sex life. but it’s super rare. honestly, most of my friends are 17 and our sex experiences ( well more like *their* sex experiences actually ) are more like “and then he touched me there and i panicked and kicked him in the stomach bc i didnt expect it to feel good” than “and then he tied me up and it was all perfect and well executed”

just to be clear, i dont feel it’s like, a pedophilia problem or anything. i dont think these authors are hypersexualizing kids. i just think this kind of smut is completely unrealistic

if you want to write it or have wrote it, then its completely okay ! do whatever you want !

i just want people to be aware that this is not an actual thing and that 15 years old just dont have that kind of sex life
