Wolfstar/Flonks Parenting: New Years Celebration

Sirius: Brags that he and Teddy are going to be the only ones to make it til midnight. Buys everyone within a six-block radius of their house tacky NYE glasses and party hats. Falls asleep on the couch by 9pm.

Remus: Rigs the fireworks to go off in the backyard. Teaches Teddy how to charm the party crackers to say dirty words when they’re popped. Tells Fleur that Sirius was the one who taught Teddy those words.

Tonks: Gets called into work at last minute, like every year. Whispers things to Fleur to ensure that she’ll wait up until she gets home. Doesn’t leave until she’s shown Teddy how to charm a ridiculous mustache on Sirius while he’s passed out on the couch.

Fleur: Makes Sirius and Teddy’s favorite chocolate peppermint fudge. Stays up until midnight drinking wine and shit talking with Remus. Lets Teddy have half a sip of champagne, and doesn’t laugh when he wrinkles his nose in disgust.
