i would love to see her redemption arc! i think given the opportunity she would be very kind and compassionate, after all she was friend with cho chang

Opinion no one asked for:

As a fandom we forget about the emotion of fear. Marietta was under immense pressure and she was very very scared about the situation she was in. What she did was horrible but it’s very much defendable. From what I remember Cho kinda dragged her into DA, she wasn’t very eager to be a part of it. We know Umbridge and what she is capable of to get what she wants.

Most people say they wouldn’t have done it but we don’t know that for sure until we are in a situation like that. It’s all talk for us and these things are easier said than done.

I can elaborate on this further once I’m on desktop but this is the gist of it.
