I think you are/were a Jegulus shipper, and Jegulus is the one common-ish HP ship I cannot understand the reasoning behind at all. I’d really appreciate if you would be willing to explain why you ship it, because I’d like to be able to understand all these posts about my wonderful son Regulus!! you have probably guessed it by now : jegulus is a crackship. it isnt based on canon at all ( fun fact : i used to call ships that were based on canon, like wolfstar or drarry, semi canon ships ).

mainly it’s because james’ loyalty and love for his friends would balance wonderfully with regulus’ introvertion and shyness. james would help regulus change his black’s manners and show him what affection and love can look like.

also because james being in love with the slytherin seeker and his best friend’s little brother is a perfect fanfiction basis with loads of possibilities : imagine all the fun !

and finally : sirius’ reaction to their relationship would be hilarious.
