i was reading a fic where regulus and sirius were starting to bond again after years apart. then regulus said he was ace, and said “it took me a while to understand that sexual attraction wasnt just thinking someone is pretty”

and my queer ass was there like “wait its not ?” and three days later i had the courage to actually look up at what asexuality was and here we are… so thanks, inclusive fics, for saving me some time and money on my labels 😉
