((OOC: UM YES DO IT? I have so many thoughts and feelings on Peter Pettigrew. He was one of the team! He was loved and he was valued! What did he offer as a friend? Did he tell great jokes? Did he give the best hugs? I feel like he’s always either not included as a Marauder, or he’s dismissed as being the anxious/slightly evil friend. But Peter was clearly someone who inspired great affection and loyalty, he must have been a joy to be around, and I just want to know MORE.
For real, if you do the thing, tag me in the thing, please, I want to see the THING.))

Not the best jokes but he makes snarky comments under his breath only the Marauders can hear.
He is a hugger but his hugs aren’t quite as wonderful as James Potter’s.
Oh and he is a GREAT listener.
And I bet he bakes! I bet when he’s home during holidays he just bakes a bunch and then comes back to school with treats for all his friends!
And he was the one who did the bulk of the research on how to become Animagi. James and Sirius were so frustrated about time constraints and wanting to help Remus NOW, IMMEDIATELY, YESTERDAY, so Peter just sat in the library for three days doing all the research to make sure they’d all be safe and stuff.
He must have been such a sweetheart?!

he has the best relationship with the elves in the kitchen because he is always there and I have this headcanon that Peter is the only student EVER in Hogwarts that ever got to bake something in Hogwarts kitchens because the elves actually liked him and he treated the elves really good, as they were equals.
I can imagine him as a research geek, that hc made me incredibly happy.
YES YES YES! He met and interacted with the house elves almost immediately on arriving at Hogwarts, because he was so nervous about being in this new place with all these new people, away from his family, that he couldn’t fall asleep in his bed. He sat in front of the fire until he passed out, and then woke up to elves tidying the common room. He asked them questions, learned all about them, and ended up just hanging around the kitchens with them till he made friends.
And James and Sirius were so stoked when they found out, just SO excited. And Remus wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to be getting in their way, them being so busy and everything, but you KNOW that he and Peter made plenty of trips down for chocolate cake in the nights following a full moon, when Remus was sad and exhausted and Peter just wanted to give him small reasons to be happy and agehdkajahGEJDJFKDBSJ
