and by “time” i mean, it’s time for me to swallow my pride and grovel bc i have no money and lots of bills.
here’s the situation:
i recently re-moved from california, back to my humble abode in nebraska, and in doing so, i had to use up most of my available funds and max my credit card, and although i have applied for and actually gotten a new job back here, i have yet to receive a paycheck, and my car insurance ($131usd)/car payment($128)/probably credit card statement($??) are going to come due before i actually get paid for any work i’m doing (stellar!).
you know the deal. any amount helps, it would mean the world, etc. etc., i hate myself.
in order to thank you for your efforts, and also to make myself feel less gross about not being able to be a functional adult, i offer you the following services:
-fic drabbles are always something i’m willing to do, and i’ll prioritize requests for this over all other things i’m doing
-i am an experienced editor with a bachelor’s in english. need a beta reader? have a school paper you’re working on and don’t feel confident on? finals coming up and you got that 20 page essay you bullshitted in five hours and you’re not sure if you even have a thesis? send it my way, i’ll give you a hand. (i won’t like, write the essays for you, but i could be persuaded to assist you to like, borderline questionable levels)
-i have experience with voice work. want your fic to be a podfic? want, idk, some other thing to be voiced? i have a “quintessential american accent” (read: boring af), and can also do some accent work, so like, hmu??
