Hc: Remus is a Quidditch Master.

( hello i’m late please don’t hate me )

remus learned quidditch with his dad. as it was only the two of them, they just played chaser and keeper, sometimes a good one-to-one snitch chase.

and remus is pretty good in all the positions, but he excels as a keeper. he rarely let a goal in, except when he is too tired because moon and werewolves stuffs.

but when he gets to hogwarts, he doesn’t want to play in the team. first because if the games happen near the full moon he won’t be able to play. second because he rather keep his occasional playing casual.

so he knows james will force him to get in the team if he sees his friend is a quidditch god. he decides to never reveal this information to the boy. never. ever.

but one day the gryffindor keeper is sick just before the big game against slytherin, and james is panicking. he runs around the room, nearly crying, pulling his hair. the marauders don’t even dare to approach him because merlin knows how important quidditch is to james.

what other choice does remus has, really ?

james is surprised to see remus, the bookish nerd in wool, volunteering for physical exercise, but is ready to take everyone right now.

he asks the other chasers to protect the goals in priority and play defensive

but then the game starts, and the slytherin captain manages to get to try a goal.

but remus blocks him so easily most of people don’t believe their eyes.

and james is in awe.

at the end of the game – which gryffindor won – sirius throws himself at remus and pulls him into the greatest hug sirius ever gave to anyone.

the entire castle is in admiration for the quite scarred boy.

remus is kind of pleased.

and then james starts to talk to him about entering the team, and remus regrets.

there it is, i’m sorry it’s so short but i hope you liked it ! 🙂
