It’s tricky though, because Remus is very anxious about giving them because he’s always afraid he’ll take it too far, bite too hard and hurt Sirius.
However, there are some times, specifically close to the full moon, when Remus is very sensitive to the fact that other boys and girls alike have their eyes on his boyfriend and they flirt with him and talk to him and Sirius, the oblivious prat, never tells them to back off because he doesn’t realize it’s flirting…
So those are the times that Remus will COVER Sirius’ neck and shoulders in little purple marks, so that everyone can see that Sirius belongs to him.
And Sirius is so proud to be his.
