okay so everyone on tumblr is basically fangirling over how much of a sweet cinnamon roll newt scaramander is and YES he’s a sweet sweetheart who deserves all the sweetness but can we stop for a second and appreciate JACOB ???
he was nice to everyone, including that man at the bank who told him he wanted to open a bakery too and then left without saying goodbye. he never got mad at newt for causing the destruction of his flat and putting him into dangerous and illegal situations. he was immediatly amazed by the wizarding world and never doubted that wizards were good persons, unlike the stereotypes at the time. he saw the beauty in newt’s beasts and never treated them like their were dangerous, despite the fact that one of them attacked him and bite him. he helped newt in his quest just because he needed help. he pointed out that you don’t just leave the house of someone who offered you chocolate. HE WANTED TO OPEN A BAKERY BECAUSE IT MAKES PEOPLE HAPPY. he willingly erased all his memories from the wizarding world, including the girl he had a massive crush on.
jacob was my fav character and he is so much perfection and i love him.
